To put it simply, the common tool-setting methods used in precision mold machining centers mainly include knife-tooling, automatic tool-setting and trial-cutting. Since a complete machining process of a workpiece may involve several or even dozens of tools, the trial cutting method is relatively primitive, and the precision of the tool is poor, so it is rarely used. Due to the variety of tools used in CNC machining centers, the tool size is also extremely inconsistent.
